About This Novel
"Flowers of Evil" is a masterpiece of poetry by French poet Baudelaire. The publication of his collection of poems in 1857 made him famous in one fell swoop and established his position in the history of French and even world poetry. "Youth Is a Melancholy Storm" contains 56 "youth" themed poems from "Flowers of Evil", from which everyone can read their own fear and love, sadness and despair. Baudelaire said: "In this book, I put all my heart, all my tenderness, all my religion and all my hatred..." He regarded this collection of poems as an outlet for his emotions and placed all his hopes and beliefs on it.
