Walt Whitman, the father of modern American poetry, was a famous poet and humanist in the 19th century. Due to the profound influence of democrats Thomas Paine and Emerson in his early years. Since 1839, he began to create literature. In 1850, he began to publish free verse in newspapers to express his love for nature and praise of free and democratic life.

As expected, I still like Walt Whitman, as others say. I read his poems myself, and although I am tongue-tied, maybe I am not high-spirited enough, his words are still attractive, but after reading them for a long time, I feel dull.
