About This Novel

Mr. Qian Zhongshu's book "Selected Notes on Song Poems" is a classic anthology of ancient poetry, and his research interest in Tang poetry is actually even greater than that of Song poetry. This book is a collection of Tang poetry works selected by Mr. Qian Zhongshu from 1985 to 1991 in "The Complete Poems of the Tang Dynasty". It reflects Mr. Qian Zhongshu's personal evaluation of Tang poetry and has never been published or published so far. The original manuscript of this book was transcribed by Mr. Yang Jiang himself. This time, it is planned to publish a typed version first to introduce Mr. Qian's unique experience of Tang poetry to the public. At the same time, the book contains 305 authors and 1,863 poems. It is also a relatively comprehensive reading book of Tang Dynasty poetry. In addition to revising the text of the original poems, this typesetting version also invited scholars in related fields to add biographies and annotations of the poets to facilitate public readers to have a more in-depth reading and study of this unique anthology of Tang poems.
