About This Novel
"My Beautiful World" is a collection of essays by Mori Mori, the "Japanese Zhang Ailing". This is a love letter to life. Mori declares: "Even without love, life can still be rose-colored." After spending most of her legendary life, Mori still used her rich sensibility in her later years to collect small but certain glimmers of beauty from tired daily life. In a willful and naughty tone, she detailed the Japanese style life in her mind. Living in a humble house in Tokyo, she recalls the Meiji elegance and European romance half a lifetime ago; she talks about food, clothing and other things, as well as the "beautiful laws" of human behavior and behavior. When imagination and memories are intertwined, black tea is fragrant, roses bloom, and demons and beasts appear. The seventy-nine precious essays are highly condensed "Jasmine Aesthetics" and interspersed with "Sen's Civilization Criticism", which is spicy and enjoyable.
