About This Novel
The book is adapted from a real patricide case, describing the sharp conflict between the old Karamazov and his three sons, as well as the court trial of the patricide case. The whole novel has two levels: on the surface, it is a case of patricide, and the victim's sons are suspected of conspiracy to some extent; but on a deeper level, it is a drama about the human spirit, telling a moral battle between lust, faith, reason and free will. The work shows an intricate tragic theme of society, family, morality and human nature.

One night, when the second son Ivan Karamazov was seduced by the devil, and the pure angel son Alyosha Karamazov regained strength from his God and left the main house of the family one after another, a crime happened: Fedor Karamazov was murdered.
The truth that Ivan presented for the salvation of his soul was easily crushed by the arrogant "Queen" Katerina in the name of love. This is Mika's real disaster: the truth is revealed only to be denied.
All the evidence points to Dmitry, who once went home with anger and passion to chase the woman he loved. He was arrested amid the intense guilt of having shed the blood of his old butler Grigory and turning into a thief who stole money from his fiancée Katerina, the joy of finally gaining Grushenka's love, and the intertwined pain of these two.
