About This Novel
In the hinterland of the Frost Forest, today's lowest temperature was minus 159 degrees Celsius. As far as I know, if compared with most places in this universe, this temperature is actually not too low - you know, if converted to the thermodynamic temperature scale, which is the ancient unit of "Kelvin", the temperature outside is actually hundreds of degrees high. However, for a terrestrial planet with life, especially one like Cimmeria that has developed a complex surface ecosystem in the equatorial region, it is really too cold here. The endless cold is like an invisible shroud, tightly wrapping every inch of the world forever. Of course, that includes the building I'm in now.
