About This Novel
The story background of this work follows the setting in the classic historical novel "The Man in the High Castle" by the master of science fiction Philip K. Dick. In 1948, the Axis Powers won the Second World War, Japan and Germany divided North America, and the west coast was renamed the "United States of Japan." Forty years later, an illegal video game, United States of America, is spreading across North America. The game asks players to imagine what the world would have been like if the Allies had been victorious. Prosecutor Ishimura and Special High School Secret Police Tsukino were ordered to thoroughly investigate the relationship between the resistance organization "George Washington Party" and this matter.
