About This Novel

Miles was originally the best agent of the Belaya Empire's security department, but he accidentally killed a hostage during an operation. In order to cover up this fact, Miles fabricated a report and was fired by his superiors. Just when Miles was confused, his boss, Imperial Security Minister Ilin, suffered from severe amnesia. After diagnosis, Yilin's brain was put into a prokaryotic organism - a small bug that specializes in eating the protein in the neural chip. After receiving special permission from the Emperor, Miles launched an investigation as Imperial Comptroller. Just as the case was making some progress, Miles's friend Galeni was accused of being the murderer, and the matter suddenly reached a deadlock... Is Galeni really the murderer? How did prokaryotes enter Yilin's brain? As the fog cleared, a conspiracy related to the safety of the empire gradually emerged...
