About This Novel

German geologist Professor Lidenbrock accidentally received a coded letter. Inspired by his predecessor, Saxon, he led his nephew Axel and his guide Hanns on an adventure trip through the center of the earth. They descended from the Snæfellsjökull crater in Iceland and experienced hardships along the way, encountering unprecedented storms and sea monsters they had never seen before.
