The atmosphere of the drama hides the core of a classical tragedy
Thrawn has so many advantages that in a story like Star Wars, where justice must triumph over evil, he must continue to fail due to various coincidences and various internal struggles. However, if you put aside the setting of good and evil, many of his qualities belong to Caesar, Napoleon, and Zhuge Liang. Although he has been victorious, he failed in the end and died of assassination, and his great cause of rejuvenation was also shattered. Undoubtedly, this is a classical tragedy. The story of a hero trying his best to fight against fate and ultimately failing is amazing regardless of the era. This is the reason why Thrawn's old trilogy has become a classic. The Imperials are no longer just a symbol of violence and the stupidity and incompetence of executing officers and soldiers at will. They can also give clear orders and prohibitions with rewards and punishments. Any leader whose soldiers are willing to die for him must be extraordinary.
Jedi lovers finally get married
Thrawn is really a strategic genius. The Republic should be glad that the Empire only has one Thrawn, not 3 or 4, otherwise the Republic would have ceased to exist.
