About This Novel

A small, blue-and-brown planet orbits a dim star all alone; near this planet, an even smaller, grayish moon orbits it equally lonely and peacefully. Under the dim light of the star, the planet looked like a shriveled pear covered with blue mold, and its satellite looked like a rotten potato that didn't look good. An old space station parked quietly at the Lagrange point between the two, like a fly unable to choose between two pieces of food.
