About This Novel
"Alive" contains Wang Jinkang's two works, "Alive" and "On Instinct". "Alive" tells the story of how a child with a congenital terminal disease discovered signs of the collapse of the universe under the influence of his stepfather, triggering changes in politics and public sentiment around the world. But then he revised his theory on his deathbed, proving that this collapse was just the reverberation of a solitary wave produced by the Big Bang and would pass quickly. Our galaxy is not dead yet.
