About This Novel
In the not-too-distant future, a technology company with advanced technology established the virtual world "Fantasy World-3" to provide marketing strategies for commercial companies by collecting public opinion data in it. However, Douglas Hall, a core member of the "Fantasy World-3" project, discovered that as the program ran, many strange things happened around him: first, the technical director died mysteriously and colleagues disappeared; then the virtual characters in "Fantasy World-3" broke into the world; and later, even the authenticity of the world he lived in became in jeopardy... A science fiction classic that transcends the times has a profound influence on the cyberpunk genre of subsequent science fiction novels and movies such as "The Matrix", and was adapted into a movie in 1999.

Interesting short science fiction novel
A science fiction novel that includes a multi-layered electronic simulation world, adding interactions between electronic virtual characters, and having a fixed theme and meaning in each world, that is, each layer. For example, a certain world is a simulation to test a policy banning smoking. Finally, the simulator protagonist in a certain layer exchanges identities with the operator in the real world (Earth) and starts living real life again. Could it be that there is room above us to control us? It's scary to think about it.
