"The Unknown Egg" describes the discovery of a red light with special functions by a zoology professor. The director of the "Red Light" state-owned farm, despite the professor's objections, suggested that the government use red light to develop chicken farming. The farm director was responsible for formulating and implementing the plan and ordering eggs from Germany. However, by some mistake, the farm director received ostrich eggs, python eggs, and crocodile eggs. A few hours after the eggs were irradiated with red light, countless giant ostriches, pythons and crocodiles emerged from their shells and ran rampant everywhere. They devoured the farm director's wife, attacked residents wildly, and then headed towards Moscow, causing panic across the country. The government sent out troops, police and planes, but could not stop these monsters. An unexpectedly strong cold wave suddenly hit, and the ostriches, pythons and crocodiles were all wiped out.
