It took me a week and I finally finished reading it, which left me with a lot of feelings. In the beginning, human beings are inherently good. But where is the good? Kind people are blackened by kindness, and gentle people are dragged down by gentleness. Strong people will be crushed by suffering sooner or later. Most of the people who are hurt in the end of the story are kind-hearted and good people. The world is so hypocritical and contrived that it makes you sick. You've been hurt so much that you don't want to be a good person anymore. In fact, there is nothing wrong with being kind. What is wrong is giving kindness to people who should not give it to people. Kindness without a bottom line will only hurt yourself. Put a set of armor on your own kindness and arm yourself to move forward.
