About This Novel
Fomalhaut is the bright star in the southern sky. On the day after his father's death, the young emperor Zhao Zhen who had just succeeded to the throne met Ai Min, a girl who had traveled from modern times under the starry sky. When he was lonely and helpless, she gave him the warmth of her palm. Because of the difference in time and space, she has always been the same girl, and she has always regarded him as the little brother when they first met, but she ignored that he would grow up day by day in front of her. She found a good match that traveled through time and space, but the other person was not him, but Zhao Congzhan, who was in a difficult situation in the clan. He was unwilling to lose the warmth in his palm, and easily destroyed their happiness with one sentence, and pressed forward step by step. Unexpectedly, there were consequences that he could not bear in his life... Fireworks lit up in the sky, which seemed to remind him of their beautiful first meeting. Just a moment ago, he felt that he was the happy emperor in the world. Jumping off a tower, descending into an ice pond, indifference, alienation, cruelty... No one knows how and when love will come and when it will leave. In the end, it was just the warmth of a palm that changed his and her life.

Fomalhaut-Book Review
When I was young, my head was filled with apricot blossoms. More than a thousand years ago, in Tokyo, Bianliang, the lights went up to the Fan Tower late at night. We never know how or when love will come. It was just the warmth of her palm that changed his life.
I feel that the writing style of this film is more refined than that of Hairpin Zhonglu!
I came to read this novel after reading "The Record in the Hairpin". It was written by the author more than ten years ago, but I don't want to find it more amazing than "The Record in the Hairpin". The author's writing style is very profound and the style is diverse!
Sadomasochism through time and space
Like many readers, I also came here from Hairpin Record~ I have to say that the perspective of this work is very unique~ Most of the current time-travel novels use the female protagonist's perspective to advance the plot. But this work takes a different approach - telling a time-traveling sadomasochism from the perspective of the second male lead. The inner portrayal of the characters is very vivid and full. Although the plot is a cliché love triangle, the unique narrative perspective is fascinating.
The author's writing style is very good and the story is good to read, but it's just too sad and I felt so heavy after reading it.
It's really rare to see novels like this written in the first person with the male protagonist.
Very nice! It is refreshing to read a novel written from a male perspective, especially an emperor, for the first time. The author's descriptions are delicate and touching in many places! Love is inherently unreasonable. Whoever loves first and who loves deeply will be the one who suffers more! The heroine may not dislike the hero, but it's just that they met at the wrong time. In addition, the heroine knows the emperor's life well and subconsciously doesn't want to be emotional towards him. It is said that emperors have been ruthless since ancient times. In fact, it is not that emperors are ruthless, maybe they are heartbroken! In this imperial family, in the face of conspiracy and power, no matter how innocent a person is, he will slowly turn into someone he doesn't even recognize.
I like this book very much, it's a bit sad
This book is great, but there are too many inner scenes and too few lines, making it difficult to make into a TV series.
I admire the author very much. A simple story can be written so delicately and with a touch of sadness. The entry point also has a unique charm. The emperor is the first perspective and the full text is expounded in the first person. The inner activities are very rich and the scenes are blended just right. Love it!
The wrong encounter doomed the ending to sadness
I spent one night reading the book and felt really sad. This is the first novel I've read with a male protagonist as the perspective, and it's really exciting. For the thirteen-year-old male protagonist, Ai Min's appearance brought light to his dark life. So I really understand the extreme behavior the male protagonist later did in order to keep Ai Min. A moth living in darkness cannot stand the days without light after seeing the light. So it will try its best to keep that light, even if it hurts both sides, it doesn't matter even if it flies into the flame. That moment of warmth was so beautiful, so tempting, just like a drug. Even though you knew it was a drug, you still couldn't resist the temptation. But from the very beginning, the male protagonist did not understand Ai Min. He stubbornly liked Ai Min and refused to let Ai Min go. But he forgot that his fox couldn't be kept in captivity, it would kill her. Perhaps their meeting from the very beginning was doomed to lead to a tragic ending.
