About This Novel

This book is based on official history, based on the love and hatred in the life of Li Ke, the third son of Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty, and uses reasoning and investigation as the narrative form to organically connect and interpret the great figures and events of that turbulent era, telling a vast, heart-stirring and moving story. After the Xuanwumen Incident, Li Shimin took over the power. However, the crisis has not been eliminated, the situation has become more complicated, and the struggle has become more intense. There are not only the forces of the previous dynasty waiting for an opportunity to be restored, but also various pressures from brothers, families, and the court. There are also Turkic and other forces looking covetously from outside. The protagonist of the story, Li Ke, appears in this treacherous background. He has a special status, being the son of Li Shimin and Princess Huaiyang, the youngest daughter of Emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty. He was talented in literature and military strategy, and was Li Shimin's favorite prince. He successively served as King of Wu, Governor of Anzhou, Minister of Dali Temple, Sikong, etc. He made great achievements throughout his life, successfully detected the prince's rebellion, and pacified the Turks... He had the ability to become the king of a country, but he had no intention of being a lonely man who controlled the power of life and death. He would rather be the "Gong of Zhou" and assist his ninth brother Li Zhi, who was "rooted in Miaohong", to govern the world. In the end, he fell into the trap of Changsun Wuji and others. He could have mercenaries all over the world, but he didn't want to rekindle the blood just because of himself. In the end, he died happily in exchange for the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty, leaving only a song of Lige...

Chang'an Lige - Book Review

Very nice! ! The author's writing is very good and the story is also very good. I feel sorry for the two male protagonists. The tragedy of the times caused the tragedy of both of them. I hope that in the next life, they can be brothers as they wish.

Chang'an Lige - Book Review

Love this book so much. Already recommended to many people. The writing is very comfortable and the plot has ups and downs. Both Li Ke and Yang Zhengdao lived very real lives.

Just finished watching it, very good

Although the ending is not official history, it meets the needs of the plot and makes people feel happy. Although ruthless is the most imperial family, the author still strives to depict a story full of family affection, love, and friendship, conveying positive energy and letting the good side of human nature be reflected, but without deliberately highlighting it, echoing each other, and connecting flesh and blood. The picture is full of sense, enjoyable, and enjoyable

Li Ke should be dead in the official history, right?
