Let me tell you my thoughts on the first thirty chapters

First of all, I admit that I am a friend of the author. I got to know him by reading his other books before, so my evaluation may be biased and not necessarily fair. But it's definitely a real feeling. This book is, according to the author's previous readers, his best work to date, but I didn't feel like the beginning was as engaging as the other books. As he once said, for a new book, readers may not be able to survive if you give it too much foreshadowing. But if you don't try so hard to attract attention, it's not ugly at all. The story unfolds in the first three chapters a bit like fantasy, with too many characters, maybe to pave the way for the future? Chapter 4 was a little overdone, and it was very cute at the end. At the beginning of Chapter 5, the author finally returns to the supernatural and suspense style that he is good at. It's a real taste! However, this book is still very risky. After all, you are writing a male-channeled book about a female protagonist... Anyway, I have never seen a successful example before. The story this time does not have too many deep holes so far. Unlike before, it took more than a million words to fill a hole, and a few more were dug along the way. However, this book fills in the gaps in basically two or three chapters, and the story does not drag out at all. This must be praised. The first story is that the woman was lost at home, which led to the male protagonist (the cat). The second story is about a ghost, and it also advances the plot quickly. Then we enter the first big battle, Hundred Demons Night Parade. There are various fights in two consecutive chapters. It seems that the author really likes fighting scenes. (Manual funny) Then there is the story about Mr. Zhou. I saw a photo of him sleeping alone on his phone, but when he lived alone, it really scared me to the point of breaking out in a cold sweat. But this actually developed into a romance? Author, are you kidding me? Fortunately, in the end, the dream episode returned to the main line. However, the overall style is very leisurely and unhurried. I don't know why a large piece of content with a completely different style suddenly appeared in the middle. The minimum level of bloody violence is very low. I don't understand it. Maybe it is to pave the way for the future? Then the biker girl showed up and started telling her story. I think this section is the best written, fast-paced and extremely engaging. If this paragraph were the beginning of the book, it would be better than it is now. Now that I have read more than thirty chapters, I am gradually getting a feel for it. Overall, reading the first five chapters is a hurdle. If you don't give up after five chapters, you will basically keep reading. The more I look at it, the better it looks. This is really good. Moreover, the world view is very novel and the logic is quite excellent. It's just that this is in line with my preferences, and I may not like others too. That's all for now. I've worked so hard to write so much, can I make it more detailed?
