Does the protagonist feel stupid?
The writing is not bad, but I feel that the protagonist is too stupid and honest... Not my favorite type, but the writing is good👍

The writing is good, but the setting is a bit flawed and the writer is a slow-burner. The protagonist's golden finger is a bit too low-key.
