About This Novel

This is a Kafkaesque fable. A group of ALS patients caused trouble when they fought for control of the light switches in the ward. In the special ward with security guards, they lost a lot of personal freedom, but they also got some discounts. Patients here can turn on and off the lights independently, turn on a small stove, and even fall into the sweet embrace of their lover under the cover of darkness. In the special ward like a prison cell, they actually found the feeling of home and began to feel happy and happy. They live in a place that they can neither leave nor stay in, a life that they can neither abandon nor embrace. Too many people sink deeper and deeper into this kind of life, until they are finally unable to move and become the living dead. Anyone who is trapped by a certain system, life, concept or other tangible and intangible things is a person with ALS in a sense. Their plight is our plight!
