In 1929, Sun Dianying and Huang Jinrong teamed up to steal and sell Dongling treasures. Unexpectedly, they fell into a trap of a broker, and the whereabouts of the Qing Dynasty treasures that were defrauded were unknown. In 2011, a young man who was arrested for drunk driving accidentally got clues to a treasure in the detention center, and thus began a journey to find wealth, dreams and love. The journey is not peaceful, full of conspiracies and traps; history and reality echo each other, but danger always follows. The treasure hunting team used mathematical principles to solve the mystery of the human skin puzzle and went deep into the secret place of the Flame Mountain in the Turpan region, only to find that the treasure had long since disappeared, leaving only a clue leading to northern Xinjiang. Following the footsteps of their predecessors, the team approached Kanas, a place where lake monsters are said to be haunted, and arrived at Baihaba, a settlement of the Tuva people.
