About This Novel

"Under the Tuscan Sun" is a long masterpiece by the well-known American writer and poet Frances Mays. It records every moment of her coming to the ancient Italian town of Tuscany to indulge in life and work. An old house where I grew up in Tuscany. On a bright sunny day, pleasure wakes up the body, exploring olives in the fields for the first time, and exploring mountain towns along ancient roads; on sleepless and quiet nights, peace accompanies the soul, slowly stretching and wandering with the square light and shadow reflected on the floor by the moonlight. I have counted pigeons cooing sixty times a minute. The Etruscan stone walls on the top of the mountain date back to the eighth century BC. We can chat slowly, there is plenty of time.
