About This Novel
In the story "Niels Riding a Goose", 14-year-old Niels is an overly naughty boy who doesn't like to study and likes to play tricks on small animals. He annoyed the elf who arrived unexpectedly, so he was cast into a little man as big as a thumb. He also accidentally rode on the neck of a domestic goose and flew into the sky. From then on, he rode his own big white goose around Sweden and began a wonderful adventure.
