About This Novel

He was called Balthasar, the Seven Suns, because he could see things in the light; she was called Blimunda, the Seven Moons, because she could see things in the dark. He has the iron hook growing out of his broken arm, and she has eyes that pierce everything; their bodies and minds love each other, and love makes people dare to go against the grain. It was a time of little imagination. The great king wanted to build a unique monastery, and the 31-ton boulder was moved purely by manpower; the crazy priest and the young lover wanted to build a machine that could fly into the sky, but people said flying was a sin. Eventually, the craft crashed, the body was burned, and the monastery was built. In the end, the divine power was deposed, the royal power was reduced to ashes, but love and will remained forever.
