About This Novel
This is a special gift given to six elderly people born in the Year of the Horse when they turn 60. The six elderly people all participated in the Yunnan Production and Construction Corps and spent their youth there. Now that I am in my twilight years, I want to sort out the joys and sorrows of my life in the past sixty years in words. The content in the book is mostly reminiscences of youth and nostalgia for hometown and friends. It is full of vicissitudes of life and also contains deep thoughts on the mark of life.
