About This Novel
This is a mysterious land. Hidden among the mountains, a small village appears in front of us. There was no marking on the map we brought, and even our guide didn't know there was such a small village. We walked in pleasantly surprised. There are dozens of families scattered in the small village, living a life like a paradise. The doors of every house are open. Finally, we came to the only consignment store in the village, where we wanted to replenish some supplies. The small shop only sells the most basic daily necessities: salt, soy sauce, one or two types of low-quality cigarettes, jars of Laobaigan... These are all things the villagers need, but the mineral water and instant noodles we need to supplement are not even available. The shop owner explained that the villagers didn't need mineral water at all. Instant noodles? Not many people in this small village can afford such expensive things.
