A book like this
Generally speaking, the amount of reading seems to be very little.
The book is a good book...
Just because few people read it doesn't mean that the writing is not good. The book is a good book, even though the ending is sad... Parks is good at using humor to describe realistic stories in urban settings, and is known as a "genius writer with a touch of Mark Twain". In this book, Parks tells a thrilling and touching story in detail - a pair of six-year-old twins were kidnapped, and the father, a judge, had to let the kidnappers control him in the subsequent lawsuit. On the one hand, he relied on judicial knowledge to protect himself, and on the other hand, he and his wife searched for clues. After a thrilling battle of wits, the children were finally recovered, but the wife died. The bond between children and parents, the showdown between judges and kidnappers, the confrontation between loyalty and betrayal, the exchange of money and power, as well as stalking, shooting, drugs, illness and other elements are intertwined into a fascinating and suspenseful story. .
