About This Novel

The book "Paper House" contains two independent and related stories. Cambridge scholar Bruma Lennon bought a copy of "The Poems of Emily Dickinson" in a used bookstore, but was hit and killed by a car while crossing the road. Shortly after Buruma's death, her colleagues discovered a copy of Conrad's "Shadow Lines" with a mysterious inscription from Buruma on the title page and what appeared to be traces of cement on the edges of the book. Full of curiosity, he embarked on a cross-Atlantic pursuit journey to find out the connection between the deceased and the mysterious sender Brower. Brower does not appear in the book, but the stories we hear linger. Bibliophile, eyebrow tattoo addict, paranoid personality, building walls with books... In another story called "The Brief Death of Waldemar Hansen", as the madman in everyone's mind, Brower returned to Buenos Aires. He smells complicity in Hansen's melancholy mood, but it gets him involved in new problems.
