About This Novel

"The Mysterious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon. For you who have grown up and are not sophisticated enough. Troubles are a godsend, meaning it doesn't take war, disaster, or major events to make us see the truth about life. George often said, "The secret of contentment is to ignore many things." At the age of sixty, he is facing his retirement life with great ambition. But life has given him some troubles: his daughter is getting married for the second time, and the groom still doesn't seem to be a suitable candidate; his son even plans to bring a man home to attend the wedding; his old friend Bob just passed away last week, and there are lumps suspected of cancer on his body. Just when he was distressed, he accidentally stumbled upon his wife's extramarital affair with a former colleague. This time, not even the proud motto could save George. "No, I can't cause trouble to my family or affect my daughter's wedding." In panic, he decided and began to lose his memory.
