About This Novel
This book is a documentary literary work reflecting the life and deeds of Zhong Yang, the "model of the times". Zhong Yang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Fudan University. He has achieved a series of important innovations in the fields of botany and bioinformatics. He once led a team to collect tens of millions of plant seeds for the national germplasm bank on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau; in order to collect seeds, he traveled all over the mountains and rivers of the motherland, including the most remote and difficult area - Tibet. In September 2017, Zhong Yang unfortunately died in a car accident and was posthumously awarded the title of "Model of the Times" by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
