"Gulliver's Travels" tells the story of surgeon Gulliver's experiences after he was shipwrecked on four voyages. The book is divided into four parts, which respectively introduce Gulliver's experiences and experiences in strange countries such as Lilliput, Adult, Flying Island, Wizards, Science Fiction, Longevity, Japan and Shenma. The author uses magical imagination, exaggerated means, and allegorical writing to criticize and satirize the British society and human society at that time, especially the corruption, incompetence, viciousness, debauchery, greed, and arrogance of the ruling class. The organic unity of fantasy and reality is the greatest feature of this work.
