About This Novel
Huckleberry is a smart, kind and brave white boy. He fled to the Mississippi River in pursuit of a free life. On the way to escape, he met Jim, a black slave. Jim was a hard-working, simple, enthusiastic, honest, and loyal black slave. In order to escape the fate of being sold again by his master, he ran away from his master's home.
