About This Novel
"A Tale of Two Cities" is one of Dickens's later important works. It is a historical novel based on part of the historical facts of the French Revolution. It is also the shortest and most concise novel in his masterpiece, but has the most twists and turns, the most thrilling and thrilling plot. The "Twin Cities", that is, London and Paris in the late eighteenth century, especially Paris during the "Terror" of the French Revolution.
