Addition and Subtraction of Family Affection
by Stony Ground
About This Novel
Walking alone in the cold night street, drenched in sparse rain, the fallen leaves stubbornly drifted behind me, like the dim light lengthening my shadow, and my heavy thoughts could not be dispersed for a long time. It was a pitiful and lonely night. My mother's shadow follows me vaguely, meditating with me, floating with me, and dreaming with me. I always think that the passage of time will make some things forgotten, but today, nine years after my mother passed away, her voice and smile have become clearer and clearer. The emotions that penetrate into my brain are impossible to forget. The autumn wind blows away the dust, but the autumn rain nourishes my heart. It turns out that my mother has always lived in my heart.
