The door to the outhouse was open, and we saw our father standing in the doorway. His mouth was open, his eyes were bulging, and his face was frightened. Dad, what's wrong with you? My brother and I stepped out of the threshold and were also stunned by the scene in front of us. There is a straw man made of thatched grass under the threshold. Although the straw man is very small, only seven or eight inches long, it has a head, a body and hands. It also has eyes, nose and mouth painted with ink. Next to it, there is half a piece of white radish, with three sticks of incense stuck on the radish. The incense is almost finished, the smoke is curling up, and the radish is scattered with black incense ash here and there.
