About This Novel

Song Yu and Qu Yuan are both called "Qu Song", and they are both the ancestors of Chinese literature. This long historical novel focuses on Song Yu, describing and shaping Song Yu in the larger historical and cultural background, thereby comprehensively showing the history, geography, people's customs and customs of the Chu State in the late Warring States Period. The image of Song Yu in the book is much richer and more delicate than that recorded in the documents handed down from ancient times. The whole novel is composed of eight chapters: "Escape from Hanxiang", "Studying at Yanying", "Entering the official position in Liyang", "King of Yunmengshi", "Granting fields in Fushan", "Demotion in Shouchun", "Running a school in Daoxi" and "Returning to heaven in Yongle".
