Chenghe City is located in the deep mountainous area outside the Great Wall. For the people here, the closest city is Beijing. Even recently, it's still 500 miles away. People here speak Mandarin, and occasionally a few "er" accents come out. They don't say "I" as "hungry", nor do they say "you" as "base". If you stand on Luohan Mountain, the highest mountain in the surrounding area and look down, you will know that this city is too small. The city in this basin is probably not as big as a county in the south.
