About This Novel

Until the spark of revolution strikes, Sister Mei Chun begins to awaken step by step in the pursuit of love, and finally embarks on the road of resistance fearlessly. The novel shows the changes of the times through the protagonist's twists and turns, and handles the changing scenes, intricate characters and complicated plots in an orderly manner. In terms of character portrayal, the novel also uses delicate psychological description and inner monologue, breaking through the rough brushwork of revolutionary literature at that time, and adding a strong touch to the history of literature. Ye Zi deserves higher evaluation and more attention in the history of literature for his tragic and deeply emotional novel creations.
