About This Novel
As a lover of Gu Long's novels, I have also selected four books for Gu Long as his "four masterpieces", which are "The Prodigal Son of the Border Town", "Seven Weapons", "The Sentimental Swordsman's Ruthless Sword" and "The Happy Hero". I did not include books such as "The Legend of Lu Xiaofeng", "The Legend of Chu Liuxiang", "A History of Martial Arts" and "Peerless Two Prides" because I think the first four books can maturely represent the characteristics of Gu Long in terms of ideological taste, language operation and character description.
