About This Novel
This book selects classic works from classical poetry and analyzes and explores their literary aesthetic value and ideological and cultural value. The book is divided into three parts, with special topics set up from three levels: personal cultivation, social virtue, and man and nature. Classical poetry works are selected to highlight the corresponding themes. The first part mainly explores the personal virtues and personality cultivation in classical poetry, starting from the five themes of self-improvement, benevolence and love, clear intention, perseverance, and innocence. The second part mainly explores the relationship between people and society in classical poetry, as well as the virtues that people should have in society, starting from five themes: patriotism, glorious dreams, concern for the country, dedication to the community, and homesickness. The third part explores the relationship between man and nature, starting from the three themes of harmony between nature and man, Tao following nature, and the unity of things and myself. On the one hand, this book explains the aesthetic meaning of poetry through the analysis and appreciation of classical poetry; on the other hand, it combines the core values of socialism to explore the contemporary value of classical poetry. This book can be used as a general humanities textbook for ordinary colleges and universities, and can also be used by readers who are interested in classical poetry.
