Wuthering Heights is a very unique work. People who like it may like it very much, and people who hate it may hate it. Although it describes love themes often written by women, it does not become clichéd, nor is it obsessed with creating unrealistic romance. Instead, it is filled with darkness, madness, and hysteria. Compared to Charlotte Brontë's "tyrannical boss" complex, I prefer Emily's beast-like primitive love. By the way, Emily's poems are very good and are the best among the three sisters.

I was very young when I read this book, about eleven or twelve years old. To be honest, I didn't understand the meaning. I just felt that I had read a magical story. I can only think of two words to describe the story that happened in it: magical. But later on, I wanted to read it again more and more. I still didn't understand the kind of crazy love that involved decades of paranoia, the stubbornness of several generations, and tortured myself into a lunatic. But I gained a new understanding after reading it. All in all, this book is worth reading, digging into, and savoring over and over again.
