The research object of "Research on Imperial Power Issues in the Late Tang Dynasty" is the imperial power in the late Tang Dynasty, that is, after the An-Shi Rebellion (755-763). It examines the expression and exercise methods of imperial power from the perspective of the initiative of imperial power in government decision-making and the relationship between monarch and ministers. The book is divided into three parts, focusing respectively on the imperial power's control of government information, the imperial power's control of issues and political procedures, and the emperor's construction and strengthening of personal relationships with ministers. The way in which imperial power was exercised in the late Tang Dynasty included both explicit power at the public level, such as direct intervention in the transfer of titles and titles with different surnames, and the emperor's conscious comprehensive use of hidden power such as information control, issue control, and the construction of personality attachment relationships. This overall strengthened the emperor's leading role in government decision-making in the late Tang Dynasty, strengthened the emperor's ability to intervene in decision-making, and reflected the evolution of the way in which imperial power was used in ancient China at the technical level.
