About This Novel
Since 2013, Central China Normal University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology have begun to cooperate in big data history research and talent training. In terms of professional curriculum settings, the big data history major has opened many distinctive professional courses. Among them, the "Big Data and Chinese History" lecture series is jointly organized by the Institute for Advanced Study and the School of History and Culture, and 10 people are invited every year. Several senior professors and emerging young scholars with expertise in quantitative historical research and digital humanities research at home and abroad gave special lectures. This manuscript is a collection of the research results and speeches of some scholars. In the future, one volume will be published every year, striving to build the "Big Data and Chinese History Research" series into an academic brand with great influence in China. This is the 4th series.
