The Wuxi and Baoding rural surveys were very important surveys in China's modern history. They were conducted four times in 1929-1930, 1958, 1987, and 1998. The four series of surveys, especially the last three, mainly conducted in-depth surveys of 22 villages, and accumulated household economic data of thousands of farmers in the north and south for about 70 years. This book is composed of articles written by many scholars using the data of these four "Wuxi and Baoding Rural Surveys". It is a multi-perspective and all-round compilation of Wuxi and Baoding rural survey research results. The book contains a total of fifteen articles by nine scholars, all of which use the "Wuxi and Baoding Rural Survey" data as a starting point to conduct research or introduce the history and existing data overview of the "Wuxi and Baoding Rural Survey".
