This book is divided into two categories: leisure reading and professional reading. It tells the story of my seventy-year reading career. The book is divided into "Reading Chapter", "Book Searching Chapter", "Writing Chapter" and "Book Giving Chapter", and also has a "Reminiscence Chapter" to commemorate the fourteen teachers and friends who have passed away, including the author's mentors and teachers, close friends and partners in academic cooperation, and two college classmates who were close friends. They were both mentors and collaborators of the author's academic career. This book is a completely personalized academic recollection, but the author is not an alternative intellectual isolated from society after all. Whether consciously or unconsciously, actively or passively, the author's memories of searching for dreams in a sea of books can reflect the changes of the seventy-year era from one side, as well as the direct or indirect impact of the changes in the author's personal life experience on his reading career. The author's memories and thoughts about his reading career, in which he narrates his experiences and discusses his insights, are not only a review of his own life, but also a reference for those who are interested!
