In 1931, Shao Ruipeng went to Henan University to serve as the director of the Chinese Language Department. Yang Yilin followed him and entered Henan University to continue studying Ci. In addition, he also participated in the singing and singing activities of the teacher-student Ci club organized by Shao Ruipeng, and his singing and lyrics were compiled into "The Remaining Sound of Mountain Birds". After Shao Ruipeng died in Kaifeng, Yang Yilin returned to Sichuan to engage in politics, and then faded out of the field of Ci study. This book is the first work that comprehensively collects and organizes the literature on Yang Yilin's Ci, including "The Rules of Zhou Ci", "Ci Model", "Yang Yilin's Ci", "Collation of Ziyang Zhenren's Ci" and "Miscellaneous Notes on Reading Ci".
