This book is divided into two parts. The first two chapters sort out the edition situation of Zeng Gong's poetry collections, and analyze the collection and circulation process of Zeng Gong's poetry collections in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, as well as the edition situations of "Mr. Zeng Nanfeng's Essence of Literature", "Mr. Nanfeng Zeng Zigu's Collection" and "Yuanfeng's Class Drafts"; the next four chapters examine the more important issues in the study of Zeng Gong's literature. The third chapter examines the formation of Zeng Gong's literary thoughts from the perspective of his more important friendships; the fourth chapter explores the specific manifestation of "Tao" as the core category of Zeng Gong's literature; the fifth chapter analyzes Zeng Gong's articles on how to accumulate knowledge and talents, and learn from the classics and examples; the sixth chapter focuses on Zeng Gong's poetry, and explores his scholar's mentality by interpreting the propositions of "Poor People's Words" and temple-themed poems.
