Grandma's Apology Letter
About This Novel
Seven-year-old Elsa had a weird and crazy grandmother who would hide in snowdrifts to scare the neighbors, write down important things on the wall because the wall would never be lost, sneak out of the hospital in the middle of the night and take Elsa into the zoo, and basically do whatever she wanted. This troublesome grandmother is Elsa's best friend and her superhero. But even superheroes will lose their superpowers one day. Unfortunately, her grandmother died of cancer, leaving Elsa with a difficult task - to send her grandmother's letter of apology to the nine neighbors she had offended. During this trip to deliver letters, Elsa gradually discovered that the stories about her grandmother and neighbors were more exciting than all the fairy tales she had ever heard. Bachman makes us fall in love with this over-the-top grandmother and fall in love with life all over again. The book comes with a mysterious apology letter, which should never be opened until you have finished reading the story. This is a story about love, forgiveness and protection that will be unforgettable long after you close the book.

Grandma said, laugh, dream, and be different. Life is a great adventure.
"Even if you have loved your grandma for many, many years, you may still not understand her at all. "It's a miserable laugh, but also miserable.
No matter what the situation, there is someone on your side, even if it is your fault. In fact, especially when you're wrong. Not all monsters are monsters to begin with, and not all monsters look like monsters. Some people hide their monsters inside, a place they think is safe. So, I feel more and more that being able to see through the not-so-good surface to understand the beautiful inside is a very, very, very difficult thing for those of us who live in ivory towers. How difficult must it be?
Life is a great adventure
Grandma's apology letter is a very interesting book. Grandma is a very funny person who loves her granddaughter very much. She can do anything for Elsa. Elsa's maturity has caused her to get strange looks from others, and grandma will always help her stand out. As she said, every seven-year-old child has a superhero, and she is Elsa's hero. Even if she has cancer, she doesn't want Elsa to know, for fear of making her sad, saying that superheroes cannot get cancer or be defeated by cancer. I really like Grandma and every character in it. It's a good book and worth recommending.
Is this book good to read?
After reading the introduction, I want to read it to my children... Friends who have read it think they can help their children read it and give it a thumbs up, thank you!
A story of love, forgiveness and protection
What this book wants to tell us is how to choose our own lives, how to face others, and most importantly, how to love and give the best things to the people you love. Although grandma is unreliable, her answer is almost perfect. Every child should have a superhero. Elsa's is her grandmother. Grandma said, laugh, dream, be different, life is a great adventure. If you knew me from before, maybe you would forgive me for who I am now. When Elsa was bullied as an alien by other children in school, grandma always used her imagination to protect the most precious innocence in Elsa's heart. In the Sleepless Continent, in Miamas, grandma used story after story to lead Elsa to the most dangerous but beautiful place in the world. Elsa never doubted the authenticity of her grandmother's story, but when her grandmother passed away, she discovered that she didn't understand her grandmother. As the book says: "Even if you have loved your grandma for many, many years, you may still not understand her at all." It turns out that the neighbors who have never interacted with each other were all close friends with grandma. It turns out that everyone in the story of Sleepless Continent is living in real life. This is a story about love, forgiveness and protection.
Superhero – Review of "Grandma's Apology Letter"
The 7-year-old protagonist Elsa is an alternative child. Because she has an EQ and IQ that far exceeds that of her peers, Elsa is too special, so Elsa is often bullied by students in the same school. But Elsa has a weird, crazy but fascinating grandmother who would bury people in snowdrifts and pretend to be dead to scare others. She would sneak out of the ward in the middle of the night, take Elsa into the zoo and attack the staff with a paintball gun, and act randomly in the police station... This seemingly irresponsible grandmother who gets into trouble everywhere is actually Elsa's only friend and the superhero in Elsa's heart. In fact, Elsa is very lucky. Grandma is like a huge protective umbrella. When Elsa is sad, scared, and helpless, grandma will take Elsa into the fairy tale world - the Sleepless Continent, and experience various adventure stories, making Elsa temporarily forget the heavy blow and fear that reality has brought to her. When Elsa suffered all kinds of grievances at school, grandma used the stupid things she did to help Elsa "rewrite her memory." In grandma's words: "If you can't get rid of bad things, you have to use more 'good stuff' to cover it up." And no matter what the situation, grandma will stand on Elsa's side indiscriminately and fight the whole world for Elsa. Grandma will always accept, support, and protect all of Elsa's childish ideas. Grandma will always be Elsa's strongest support. But in real life, how "selfish" parents are, taking away our freedom, how much I hope to have someone who supports me without any reason! This book not only contains the warm stories between grandparents and granddaughters, but also the author's deep insights about "the humor and sadness of life". The most important plot in the book appears in Chapter 4. After that, Grandma and her neighbors will appear one after another. Their appearance adds a lot of realistic cruelty to this seemingly fun and funny story. Even superheroes will lose their superpowers one day, even Grandma, a somewhat "dysfunctional" superhero. Later, her grandmother passed away due to cancer, leaving Elsa with a very difficult task - to send her grandmother's apology letters to the neighbors who had been offended by her grandmother. Recipients include. A big dog who loves to eat candy, a monster who is always washing his hands, an annoying man who cares about things, an alcoholic psychiatrist and so on. This wonderful journey of sending letters allowed Aisha to get to know her friends again, step out of her inner world, let herself get to know the world again, and discover the loveliness of the people around her... Growing up in love, she was occasionally sad, but in her bravery and strength, Elsa eventually became a superhero, protecting others just like her grandmother protected herself. Just like the letter that grandma wrote to Elsa with extremely typos. When you make people laugh, your heart feels sour and your eyes want to burst into tears. Let us also do the same as grandma said to Elsa: "Grow up well and be a different person"
Caring for the lonely: the unfortunate
Every lonely person will appear abnormal. And, how humane it is to have someone who truly loves her and is willing to be with her until she gets over her misfortune. Some friends I meet in life are like this, Naruto is like this, and here (Chapter 1) it is like this again
