About This Novel

However, she did not expect that Zhou Chengkai was forced to get engaged to the daughter of the Kong family due to family requirements. As a result of her painstaking struggle, she finally gritted her teeth, covered up the pain, and watched him fly away from her world alone. In addition to the pain, Hua Jingyan resolutely gave up the relationship, but unexpectedly she met the head of the Kong family, Yi Ren, the father of Zhou Chengkai's new wife. The two are attracted to each other and restrained in every possible way. Well, it's a bit confusing after reading this. I really want to know how old everyone in the Kong family is.
It felt messy, the heroine and her ex-boyfriend's father-in-law completely subverted my three views. This is not the love I want to see, and I can't stand it anymore.
Not quite like the author's style
It's really average, as readers who have watched (Affordable Men and Women) and (Can't Help Falling in Love with You) will understand. This book uses a joke from (Jing Nan), that is, the rich second-generation ex-boyfriend chose a profit marriage, but still entangled with the heroine; but in (Jing Nan), the rich second-generation wife in the marriage was not emotional. However, judging from the development of the novel, this paragraph is unnecessary, because only the second lady is involved in the feud between the wealthy families. Oh, this book is somewhat similar to the writing style and writing style of "How Marriage Was Made", but it is more obscure than "Marriage". Maybe it's because the author is still not very good at handling the subject of rich families' grudges. I originally thought it would be similar to a Korean drama (The Abrupt Woman). There is a plot in it that the heroine and her ex-sister-in-law later became mother-in-law and daughter-in-law... Who knew that the novel would not go like this, haha. Think about it, Mr. Kong is really a happy man. Marriage for profit when he was young must have helped his career. After middle age, he actually met true love and got a son. Of course, if he hadn't been in such a prosperous position in middle age, he wouldn't have been able to enter into a marriage with his love that didn't involve any interests. Therefore, the heroine can only marry him at this time, and the big age gap is inevitable.
After reading the introduction, I didn't want to read it. . .
The title of the book is very beautiful, but after reading the introduction, I didn't want to read it.
I read the introduction ~ What the hell is that, the father of the wife who falls in love with his ex-boyfriend? ? ? ?
I feel like my outlook on things is wrong. At this age, this complicated relationship, haha
