"Seven Heroes and Five Righteousness" is an important representative work of ancient Chinese popular novels. Its predecessor "Three Heroes and Five Righteousness" was written by Shi Yukun, a famous storyteller during the Xianfeng and Tongzhi years of the Qing Dynasty. It was later renamed "Seven Heroes and Five Righteousness" by Yu Yue of the Qing Dynasty.
